1. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and other similar mechanisms to understand how users interact with our Website and for marketing purposes, including to display advertisements to them in other places on the Internet.
What are cookies? A cookie is a small text file saved by a website on your computer, phone, or other device on which you are browsing. A cookie contains data about how you use that website.
Some cookies are essential for our Store to function and cannot be disabled. In all other cases, when you first visit our Website, we ask for your consent to install cookies. We do not use advertising or analytical cookies (or any cookies other than essential ones) without your consent.
What cookies do we use?
Essential cookies These cookies are necessary for the website to function correctly. You cannot disable them, as doing so would cause our website to stop working properly. In this regard, we use a tool that stores your privacy settings and records your consent or lack thereof to the activation of individual types of cookies on our website. Other essential cookies on our Website serve to ensure its correct operation and management, including making changes to the website and activating tracking tools to which you have given your consent.
Website analytics We use tools that collect analytical data, allowing us to understand how users interact with our Website. The data we receive from these tools does not identify any specific named individual, but allows us to record various aspects of a user's interaction with the Website. We may aggregate and analyse this data statistically, and then use it to make decisions about changes to our Store and/or our advertising and marketing communications. A list of the analytical tools we use on our Website, along with an explanation of (1) who provides the tool, (2) its specific purpose, and (3) what data is collected — can be found in Annex 1 to this policy, and in summary form in the cookie consent management panel.
Advertising cookies We use advertising tools that allow us to display our advertisements on other websites you visit, including social media (so-called targeted advertising), measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, and tailor the content of our communications to the information we hold about you. Our Store offers the option to subscribe to our newsletter. As a result, cookies are used to embed a subscription form on our Website and to measure the effectiveness of sign-ups through that form. Modern e-mail marketing systems allow us to combine analytical data from mailing campaigns with analytical data from the Store. We may use this data to optimise the content of messages sent to newsletter subscribers. A list of the advertising tools we use on our Website, along with an explanation of (1) who provides the tool and (2) its specific purpose — can be found in Annex 1 to this policy, and in summary form in the cookie consent management panel.
Functional cookies Some cookies on our website are used to enable additional tools on the Store's website, such as a chat function, a product review and/or star rating module, the ability to recommend a product to a friend, the ability to display recently viewed products in our Store, etc. A list of the functional tools we use on our Website, along with an explanation of their specific purposes, can be found in the cookie consent management panel.
Social media plugins and links Our Website includes links to our social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. If you visit our profile on any of these platforms, the owner of that platform will receive — as is the case whenever users navigate from any website to another — information that you arrived at their platform from our Store. Further details about data processing by these social media platforms can be found on the providers' websites:
- Facebook and Instagram: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/center/
- TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/eea/privacy-policy/pl-PL
Videos Some videos on the Website are embedded using plugins from YouTube [a service owned by Google] / TikTok plugins. When you play such a video on our Website, Google / TikTok receives this information from your browser, even if you do not have a Google/YouTube profile / even if you do not have a TikTok profile, or are not currently logged in. If you were previously logged in to the relevant platform, that service provider will be able to directly associate the video playback with your profile. If you wish to prevent Google / TikTok from collecting information about your activity on our Website, you may:
- not play the video (consenting to play a video will be treated as consent regarding other videos on our Website as well — until you withdraw it by changing your cookie preferences),
- not consent to cookies from that platform on our Website,
- or log out of that platform.
Further information about data processing by YouTube / TikTok can be found at https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy / https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/eea/privacy-policy/pl-PL.
Legal basis for cookies The legal basis for the Store's use of essential cookies (as described above in the "What cookies do we use?" section) is our legitimate interest, i.e. the right to operate a Website that supports our business and the need to maintain its security. The legal basis for our use of all other cookies is your consent.
In connection with our processing of your personal data via cookies, you have the rights described at any time in the section Your rights in connection with data processing.
Our use of cookies, particularly for advertising purposes, may involve so-called profiling. This means that we, or the marketing companies whose services we use, may create a user profile based on collected information (e.g. e-mail address, order history, device type, technology used, frequency of visits) and use this to make predictions about future purchasing behaviour. This allows us to decide what content (including advertisements) to display on our and other websites.
How long do cookies remain on a user's device? This depends on whether they are "persistent" or "session" cookies. Session cookies — i.e. information necessary for browser functions to work correctly — expire at the end of the user's session, meaning each time you close our Website. Persistent cookies, which make browsing easier (e.g. by remembering your chosen resolution, content layout, user preferences, and recently viewed products), will be stored by the browser for longer and will remain until their expiry date, unless you delete them earlier via your browser's settings menu.
Third-party cookies (i.e. analytical, advertising, and social media-related cookies) are subject to their own privacy policies, links to which are provided in this policy.
2. OTHER PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA OF STORE USERS

Providing the above data is not mandatory, but it is necessary in order to fulfil your order, issue an invoice, notify you of your order status, respond to your enquiry or complaint, etc.
The collection of data for the purposes of fulfilling accounting and tax obligations, as well as the transfer of data to the National e-Invoice System (KSeF), takes place solely to the extent required by law and does not require separate consent from Store customers.
How long do we process data? Your data related to placing an order in the Store is processed for as long as necessary to fulfil the order, and until the expiry of the period specified in tax legislation.
Structured invoices sent to KSeF are stored in KSeF for a period of 10 years, counted from the end of the year in which they were issued.
In addition, we will process data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes listed in the table above (i.e. until our legitimate interest enabling processing ceases, or until you object to processing, or until you withdraw your marketing consent — if you have provided it). Further processing will only be possible where we as the controller are subject to a legal obligation (in particular for tax purposes) and potentially for archiving purposes to protect against possible claims (until such claims become time-barred).
To whom do we transfer your data? In our operations, we use the services of other partner companies, and therefore your data may be entrusted by us to: the company providing us with the Store software, our accounting firm, the hosting provider of our Website, the hosting provider of our e-mail, and other companies whose services and marketing tools we use. Your data is also transferred to courier companies and, where applicable, payment intermediaries for the purpose of fulfilling your order; these companies act as independent data controllers.
To the extent that tax legislation requires the issuance of a VAT invoice, the information contained in VAT invoices is transferred to the National e-Invoice System (KSeF), administered by the National Revenue Administration. Access to VAT invoices in KSeF is granted to entities authorised under applicable law, in particular the bodies of the National Revenue Administration. In connection with our use of KSeF, we may grant permissions to use KSeF (in particular to view/receive invoices) to entities supporting us in fulfilling our accounting obligations, such as an accounting firm, in accordance with the rules for granting permissions in KSeF.
For the marketing activities described above in the "Cookies" section, we use services provided by entities based in the USA (Google, Facebook). As a result, personal data may be transferred to third countries that are not members of the European Union. An adequate level of protection for your data is ensured by the Data Privacy Framework, about which you can read more at https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/.
Your rights in connection with data processing We are committed to respecting the confidentiality of your personal data and ensuring that you are able to exercise your rights. You may exercise your rights free of charge by sending us an e-mail or contacting us in another way.
Please note that in connection with the processing of your data, you have the right to:
- request access to the data we hold about you;
- rectify your data;
- erasure of your data, if it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was processed, or if we have no other legal basis for processing it;
- withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data, if you have provided such consent;
- object to the processing of your data, if we process it on the basis of legitimate interest;
- restriction of data processing;
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, if you believe that your data is being processed by us unlawfully.
Additional information for newsletter subscribers If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will send you marketing information about our products and/or services, such as news about our offer, promotions, or special deals.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any newsletter or simply by sending us a message.
Our modern e-mail marketing system allows us to analyse recipient behaviour — for example, it tells us whether a given message has been opened by you. We analyse such information to better tailor the content of the newsletter and notifications to your interests and to send you personalised messages (profiling). You may object to such processing of your data at any time. In the event of a subscriber being inactive for 365 months, we may cease sending them the newsletter. In such a case, we will remove you from our subscriber list (with prior notice).
Your data is not used by us to make decisions based solely on automated data processing that could affect your legal situation or produce other similarly significant effects.
Further legal information about the rules governing our newsletter can be found in the Newsletter Terms and Conditions (part of our Store Regulations).
ANNEX 1 TO THE PRINTDRAFT STORE PRIVACY POLICY LIST OF ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICAL TOOLS USING COOKIES
ANALYTICAL COOKIES:
Google Analytics The information that Google Analytics collects about users includes, for example: how many times a user visits the website; which subpages they visit; the date of their first and last visit; the duration of visits; the page from which the user arrived at the website (traffic source); the browser used; links clicked; the user's location in the world; anonymised (truncated) IP address, etc.
Google assigns each user a unique identifier (Google ID) and collects data obtained from cookies across various websites on its servers. We — as the owner of the Website — may only receive reports (statistics) from Google relating to traffic on our Website. These reports naturally cover only those individuals who have consented on our Website to having their visits recorded by Google Analytics.
Further detailed information about how Google Analytics works can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245/.
You can also permanently prevent Google Analytics from recording information from your browser by installing a dedicated browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Store software provider cookies The software provider that powers our Store — i.e. the owner of the shoper.pl platform — places cookies on our Website in order to collect aggregated information about how customers use online stores (subpages visited and time spent on them, products viewed, clicks on the Store page, analytical information related to purchases, such as conversion rates).
This data is used to create aggregated reports for e-store owners, containing general (non-personal) information about, for example, which products attract customer interest, and during which periods of the year traffic or sales in stores increase. This allows retailers (including us) to improve their stores and optimise sales processes.
Full information on this topic can be found in the Cookie Policy for visitors to Shoper stores.
ADVERTISING COOKIES
Google Ads and other Google advertising tools Google collects data obtained from cookies placed on your device on its servers. This data is collected across all websites where you have consented to the use of cookies for advertising purposes by Google (including our Website), as well as from advertisements you have clicked on. Google uses this information to display advertisements on other websites you visit. Google cookies typically expire after 3 months.
As advertisers using Google's services, we do not have access to cookie data stored on your device, but we can commission advertisements targeted at audiences with characteristics we select — for example, all individuals who have visited our website (or a specific subpage) within the last 7 days. This data serves as statistical material only, and we commission advertisements solely on the basis of aggregated criteria (targeting specific audience groups, not individual users).
We may also use tools (as part of Google Marketing Platform) that allow us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (e.g. how many people clicked on a given advertisement within a specified period).
More information about how Google uses cookies to display advertisements and how you can manage your advertising settings can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7549925.
Meta Conversion Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) We use the so-called Meta "conversion pixel" (remarketing pixel) to manage advertisements on Facebook and Instagram.
If you consent to the use of this cookie on our Website, Meta Platforms will receive information that you have visited our Website via this tool. This information is assigned to your profile on the relevant platform, if you have one. If you are not a user of these platforms, the information is assigned to a so-called "Facebook ID" created for you.
This allows us to display advertisements on Facebook and Instagram to individuals who have already visited our Website or specific subpages (remarketing). We then receive from Meta Platforms only statistical data regarding the effectiveness of advertisements (e.g. how many people saw our advertisement, how many clicked on it), without reference to specific users.
If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, we encourage you to read further information about data protection on these platforms at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ and https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388.
More information about the Meta remarketing pixel can be found at https://www.facebook.com/business/help/742478679120153?id=1205376682832142.
E-mail marketing For newsletter purposes, we use a tool provided by an external company. The e-mail marketing system embeds cookies on our Website for the purpose of displaying subscription forms and measuring the effectiveness of these forms (conversion rate).
